Michael Jackson 1958-2009

When EMTs arrived at Michael Jackson's home yesterday, the medics wanted to pronounce him dead on the scene -- but Michael's personal doctor refused to let them "call it" -- this according to sources close to the situation.

When EMTs arrived there was evidence someone had been performing CPR on Michael for "quite some time." There was evidence of Lidocaine -- an old-school drug that can be used to treat disturbances in the heart's rhythm. Medics took over performing CPR but determined Jackson was lifeless -- and wanted to call the coroner to pick up the body.

We're told Jackson was flat-lined when EMTs arrived.

But our sources say M.J.'s doc demanded EMTs continue performing CPR anyway, and demanded that they take Michael to the hospital.

Once they arrived at UCLA, we're told Jackson's doc continued to personally administer CPR -- even though it was clear Jackson was already gone.

Mickey Rourke suits up as Whiplash for 'Iron Man 2'

In Iron Man 2, the scarlet and golden-metaled hero must face an adversary with some amazing gadgets of his own.

Whiplash (Mickey Rourke) sports a power pack on his chest that looks similar to the one that Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) uses.

"The technologies are definitely related," says director Jon Favreau. "That's part of the core theme of the film."

The villain's alter ego, Ivan Vanko, is a Russian who "has constructed his own version of a suit," Favreau says. Among the creative innovations: a pair of whips, powered by the suit's glowing chest piece, that are expected to keep Iron Man cracking.

Whiplash "is going to light them up," Rourke quips.

A Place For Homies

The crew hit up our favorite charity event Stars and Strikes. It was a Star laced event to raise money for a charity called A Place Called Home in South Central. Oscars Yeeeee!

Prophet. Los Angeles. Oscars. From walking red carpets doing interviews to being introduced by Dougie Fresh, Proph was holding it down Sunday night after the Oscars. After DJ AM and Colby O'donis went on, Proph and Leah Turner performed her single "Kiss This." The stars were out and it was all for a great benefit. Shout to Tommy Tomatoes! Yeeeee!

Day of Remembrance - Executive Order 9066

Teruo Artistry supported the Japanese American National Museum's Day of Remembrance on Saturday. The event memorializes the day Franklin Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066, effectively incarcerating 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry (the overwhelming majority being American citizens). The events pays tribute to those who suffered through the injustices and persevered, as well as serves as a reminder to the newer generations to be vigilant for civil rights. With impressive speeches, presentations and musical performances, the day was definitely to be remembered.

Magic - Day Two

After a successful second day, Team Teruo headed to Club LAX at Luxor for some VIP R&R. Prophet chopped it up with the great Grandmaster Flash as DJ Hollywood spun some mastery.


Ludacris performed live right in front of us. We were so close to the man and the stage that the speakers destroyed the sound quality (only a few seconds is shown here).

Magic - Day One

Teruo Artistry returned to S.L.A.T.E. at Magic to push its message of "always creating... by any dreams necessary."


DJ SKEE rolled up in the building and held it down wearing a freshly painted hoodie by TTW.


Artist TTW was live painting all day everyday to showcase some of the magic behind Teruo's designs.

Blu /Wale Hip Hop Lives

It was dope to walk into a Venu like the Key Club and see it packed to the gills with Hip Hop heads, Fashionistas, tastemakers, skaters and squares in these challenging times. I cant remember the last packed out Hip Hop show I have been to. Shout out to the Homie DJ Skee for playing host to the Teruo Boss and making sure bottle service was in full play ya dig. U-N-I ripped it first. Then the So Cal native Blu newly drafted to WB hit the stage with DJ Exhile and put 100 bar verses out like what. He deff is bringing a crazy fresh sound to the West. Wale took the stage with a full band and brought LA "GO GO" music streight from DC. He shut it down when he brought out Warren G and Bishop Lamont showing that LA has DC luv ya dig. Over all most entertaining show this year for me. I think both Blu and Wale will be packing houses out for a while ya dig.

Hail Mary on Cazador!

Heading back from rocking the Mic at "Recessions" in China Town with the Teruo Fam I saw this. Crazy marble sized hail. It shelled the crib of Cazador bosses while we were flick in it up at the club. Almost unreal amounts lay on the street and plants. The deck looked as if snow had fallen. Nature is "Always Creating" I suppose!
