A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Brian Watters through the homie Ryan over at Skee.TV. Brian and his brother Timothy Watters run a line called Teruo Artistry, a finely crafted, attention-to-detail type of underground clothing company with graphics based on Timothy's extensive repertoire of illustrated art. They describe Teruo as "a simple, profound, design-first clothing company... valuing creation before complacency, expression before trends and earth before profits... we believe what we wear defines who we are... Wear Yourself." Just scroll down to the bottom of the page to peep the time-lapse video of Timothy painting a portrait of Jay-Z, to get an idea of the artistic skill level we are talking about here. Before we let you peep the 5 tees from their collection today, I have to mention that the quality on all these tees is really above par... they are all soft, sturdy tees with inside neck taping with an embroidery/hand picked fabric applique on the lower back, ensuring that each piece is completely unique and no two print are alike. With all that said... let's get into the first 5 tees from these cats...
